The County Room has an overall area of 39 square meters. The room can be used in a variety of configurations, typically boardroom or theatre style, or we can strip it of furniture altogether if all you require is a space. It also lends itself to being booked as an overflow or break-out room, and it is possible for users to overflow to some extent onto the mezzanine gallery directly outside.
Because the facilities in the room include a discreetly positioned sink, it is regularly used for art-related workshops where easy-access to water is desirable.
The County Room has a ceiling mounted projector and 0.97 m x 1.7 m wall-mounted screen. There are both VGA and HDMI connections for a laptop. Speakers can be provided for any audio requirements. Flipchart stands are also available.
