Turrets Youth Theatre runs weekly drama sessions, termly theatre performances and one-off creative projects for children and young people in Barnard Castle and the surrounding area.

We have two groups – Juniors (ages 8-12) and Seniors (ages 13+) – and meet on a Wednesday evening (4-5:30pm and 5:45-7:15pm) at The Witham Community Arts Centre.

Through devised and scripted work, our groups develop imaginative and original performances, equipping members with invaluable experiences both on and off stage. Our weekly workshops are full of play, building confidence and trust as key acting skills are developed. We have masterclasses, guest facilitators and a range of different performance opportunities. It’s a lot of fun – come and join us!

The cost per child for Turrets Juniors and Seniors is normally £80, with an Early Bird offer of £70 for those that pay for the term before 1 January 2024.
