Tai Chi Qigong Classes

Tai Chi Qigong is a Chinese exercise system that combines flowing movements, with mindful breathing and meditation, to promote the flow of energy throughout the body, which can have profound physical, mental, emotional and wellbeing benefits. Class members regularly report that they feel happier and get more enjoyment out of life; that they cope more effectively with stressful situations; and that they sleep better.

We offer classes for every level of experience: from absolute beginner through to advanced practitioner. Because the movements are gentle and can be easily modified, Qigong is accessible to everyone, regardless of age, level of fitness, or any mobility issues.

Below you can fund further details about each class, what will be covered during the term, which class would suit you best, and how to book a place.

For anyone wanting to attend more than one class it’s worth buying a General Pass. This allows you to attend as many classes as you’d like each week at a greatly reduced price.

If you would like more information about which class is right for you, you can contact Andrew Yeadon by email: [email protected] or mobile: 07967 531905. You could also look at the ‘Barnard Castle Tai Chi Qigong’ Facebook page where you’ll see demonstrations of Qigong movements by class members, along with explanations of how they benefit our wellbeing.
