Matthew Scott: Teesdale and Beyond – Part 2

An exploration of the landscapes of northern England, particularly those of Teesdale and the Yorkshire Dales, in watercolour and oils. 

Northern England is blessed with a wide variety of stunning scenery, including mountains, dales, moors, lakes and coastline. A keen walker, Matt spends a lot of time out in nature exploring these landscapes before recreating his impression of them at home in his studio.

In this exhibition, Teesdale and Beyond, he aims to depict the beauty of Teesdale, the Yorkshire Dales and further afield, with a focus on the changes of colour and atmosphere brought on by different weather conditions throughout the seasons.
