Chris Morse: Mostly Woodland

Chris is an amateur photographer from South Wales who moved to Barnard Castle in 2013.

He studied photography at Newport College of Art in 1988 under one of, the then, top 100 photographers in the world.

“I was 18 and he actually liked one of my photos! It’s amazing just how a small piece of encouragement can affect your life.”

This is Chris’s first photographic exhibition.

He has been building up a large collection of woodland images, from the local woods here in Barnard Castle, over the different seasons.

They’re not all woodland, just mostly.

“My aim is to try and show the magic that I find when out walking in these places, to show the adventure that awaits”.
