Ukraine Benefit Concert: Sophia Strings

Led by professional Ukrainian violinists Kostia Tsepkov and Iryna Zagorna, with Penny Jones on cello and Jill Russell/Paul Donovan on viola, Sophia Strings has appeared at a range of venues and events across the North East.  For this benefit concert at The Witham, they will play a wide range of short popular classics and lighter music. There will be something for everyone including a dash of Ukrainian traditional music.

Joining them will be the young Ukrainian emerging artist Sofia Nikolaiets who will sing some well known tunes.

All proceeds will go to the Red Cross Ukraine Crisis Appeal.
