Turning Pedals into Poems is Caroline Burrows’ one-woman poetry show, which she is touring sustainably by bike during August and September 2022, starting in Bristol, travelling via rural locations and cities, over the Peak District and the Pennines, up to Berwick-Upon-Tweed, and a bit beyond.
Caroline’s poetry has featured on BBC Radio 4, been printed in BBC Sky at Night Magazine, shown at the Sheffield Adventure and Kendal Mountain Film Festivals and been shortlisted for the Sustainability First Art Prize. Her short stories have been published in The National Flash Fiction Anthology, The Charles Causley Trust, and The Lancaster One Minute Monologues. She has also written articles for several publishers including Cycling UK and Adventure Cyclist magazines.
Join Caroline for an hour of poems on themes ranging from her adventures by bike – from moongazing and observations on the Sun, along with others about trying to be more environmentally friendly, mental health, love, social commentary, and trees.
