Moor House – Upper Teesdale National Nature Reserve covers 7,400ha of the Pennine moors. It straddles Cumbria and County Durham. It was designated a UNESCO biosphere reserve in 1976. In his illustrated talk, Professor Rob Marrs (Liverpool University) describes its pioneering work over a prolonged period. This talk is designed to appeal to a general audience.
