Sunday Classics: A Woman’s Lot

Soprano Penelope Randall-Davis and pianist Ingrid Sawers mark this year’s International Women’s Day with a heart-warming and enjoyable mix of operatic arias, art song, music theatre and folk songs celebrating female experience.  Interwoven with evocative poetry and prose readings from classic writers, the programme includes music by female composers, as well as Handel, Dvořák, Strauss, Schubert and Fauré.
