Springsteen On Broadway – Graeme Richardson and Louise Howarth
Springsteen on Broadway was a concert residency by Bruce Springsteen in New York City at various times between 2017 and 2021. The shows featured Springsteen performing his music, restating incidents from his autobiography, and performing other spoken reminiscences written for the show. Springsteen’s wife also appeared at most shows. Graeme Richardson and Louise Howarth recreate those shows.
Graeme Richardson, known to all and sundry as “Rico”, is the frontman and energetic driving force behind the NE Street Band, who have played to packed houses at The Witham on a couple of occasions. Rico founded the band back in 2019, and in addition to guiding them to ever greater heights, also tours the music of the Boss in his solo shows Acoustic Springsteen and Springsteen on Broadway.
Louise Howarth joined the NE Street Band in January 2022. An extremely talented and versatile musician, Louise plays not only tenor and alto sax, but also flute and clarinet. And as if that wasn’t enough, she also has a fantastic voice, which she puts to great use when touring with Rico in his Springsteen on Broadway shows.
