Small World Fest Saturday 25 March to Saturday 1 April celebrating the cultural diversity of Teesdale.

Many activities are free. Some workshops must be booked as places are limited.

Schools Performance, Barnard Castle School – Sat 25 March 2pm to 3.15pm
Local schools will perform work they have developed in class, exploring different countries and cultures from the musical Les Misérables to the New Zealand Haka. 

Irish Cooking Demonstration, The Witham Café – Mon 27 March 5pm to 6.30pm

Join Suzanne Wallace in the Witham Café to learn how to make Irish Stew. You get to taste it too!

Italian Cooking Demonstration, The Witham Café – Tues 28 March 5pm to 6.30pm
Booking essential.
Join Thomas in The Witham Café to learn how to make the perfect pizza base and combine toppings to make the most delicious wood fired pizza.

South American Cooking Demonstration, Teesdale School – Thursday 30 March 4pm to 6pm Booking essential.
Join sixth form pupils from Teesdale School to learn how to make a delicious South American dish.

Art Exhibition, TCR HUB – Saturday 1 April 10am to 2pm
Work produced by local schools will be displayed. Hop on the shuttle bus to visit the exhibition. The bus will leave the back gates of The Witham every 20 mins from 10am to 2pm.

Live Music, The Witham Café – Saturday 1 April 11am to 12noon
From the Beatles era, through Live Aid and beyond, a mixture of musicians/instruments will enjoy playing in the spirit of Internationalism.
