Local author and archaeologist Caroline Hardie will read from her story Little Loco’s BIG Day – a story about a very important day – the start of our modern railway 200 hundred years ago. She will talk about how archaeologists use evidence to find out about what really happened on this world changing day. Then we will think about how travelling by train has changed in the last 200 years.  At the special request of Herald the Horse, we will sing Herald’s Song – very loudly! There may be stickers at the end especially for loud singers aged below 90. Feel free to hoot and chuff like a train on the way home. Choo choo!

Suitable for ages 5-7 but younger and older children will enjoy it too.

Each child receives a copy of the book.

Free event – book your place as space is limited!
