Sue Humphrey paints in bright colours with simplified images to reflect the colours she sees in the world around her.
Sue lives and paints in a small village in County Durham. She studied Fine Art at Newcastle University in the late 1960s. She sees colour in everything around her and reflects this in her work.
She is influenced by the works of Hundertwasser, early Kandinsky and by Fauvism and Expressionism in general.
