The three legendary comedians will be pulling into Barnard Castle on the 30 September.  A treat for all comedy fans of all ages!

Comedian, actor and singer Tommy Cannon is of course best known as part of the double act Cannon and Ball, along with the late friend and colleague Bobby Ball. One of the UK’s all-time favourite duos they became comedy legends and have been firm favourites since their first TV appearance in 1968 on Opportunity Knocks.  Their Saturday-night television series The Cannon and Ball Show was one of LWT’s most successful series, with consistently high viewing ratings over 12 years.

Stu Francis, comedian and children’s entertainer, whose ‘Crush A Grape’ catchphrase, while he was lead presenter on Blue Peter in the 1980s, made him a household name.

Johnnie Casson has appeared on numerous occasions on British television, notably on ITV’s The Comedians.  One of the comics favourite comics, Johnnie was a regular on the couch with Des O’Connor. Bob Monkhouse rated him as one of the top four comedians in the country.
