Winter Wonderband

Winter Wonderband is a collaboration founded in 2012 between long term musical friends – Saul Rose on melodeon (Faustus, Waterson Carthy, War Horse), Beth Porter on Cello (Spell Songs, Wayward Band, Bookshop Band), Maclaine Colston on hammered dulcimer (duo Saul, Kings Calicutt), and Jennifer Crook on harp/guitar (Cythara, Broken Road). Recent highlights include Halsway Manor, Costa Winter Festival, and Cecil Sharp House.

The set is a wintery compilation of traditional folk and new work, blending melodies and songs, arranged beautifully in what’s been described as “chamber folk”.
