Heather Gillespie is one of UK’s finest glass cutters and engravers. She won the Master of Crafts Award (2012) and is an Associate Fellow of the Guild of Glass Engravers for her services to glass in the UK.
Working from your own design on to a glass form, Heather will guide you through the design and making process. The workshops are suitable for people with no experience of working with glass. This process does get a little messy, so old clothing, and sturdy shoes are required. Heather will brief you on H&S, and protective masks are included because it can get a little sandy! Sharp objects are involved.
Masterclass fee of £40 per person includes all materials but not lunch.
The low cost of these workshops are subsidized by trusts and foundations. Please book as places are limited. For further information and to book,
