On track to Heritage Lottery Fund

Yesterday, I was lucky enough to be a fly on the wall at a meeting in Newcastle.  It was between the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) and the Witham Hall Redevelopment Project.

Heritage Quest(ionnaire)...

Hello blogspotters. Today I am asking you to get involved in our quest to understand the history of The Witham Hall. In my last post, I talked about how the Witham has successfully gained a ‘first round pass ‘in a bid to a Heritage Lottery Fund, which would help significantly contribute to the Witham Hall's redevelopment if a second (final) round pass is awarded.

While researching the lively history of The Witham whilst on placement at Radio Teesdale, Lara came across articles in the Teesdale Mercury archive detailing a fund-raising concert which took place on the 14th of September 1939.
